IOA — Personal Identity Brand

IOA is my personal brand, designed to represent both who I am and how I work as a graphic designer. It merges the three letters of my full name—Ivan de Oliveira Aguiar—into a simple, modern logomark. At the center of this visual identity is the letter O, shaped to resemble a pointer icon, symbolizing direction, interaction, and intentionality in digital spaces.

Concept & Symbolism
The pointer is more than just a shape—it’s a visual metaphor for design as a guiding tool. As a designer, I believe in creating work that points users toward clarity, meaning, and emotion. The IOA logo captures that philosophy: precise, intentional, and human.

    • Logo Typeface: Quasimoda (used in Thin, Medium, and Black for variation)

    • Script Accent: Adventures Unlimited, bringing a personal and expressive touch

    • Web Typography: Poppins, chosen for legibility and geometric harmony

Color Palette
The brand uses a vivid mix of coral red, muted violet, warm orange, and soft sky blue, balanced by strong white and dark accents. The palette brings energy and versatility while remaining polished and contemporary.

Logo Variations
The brand includes vertical, horizontal, and icon-only versions of the logo, optimized for both print and digital use. Color variants support light and dark modes, with consistent visual impact across platforms.

Visual Language
Inspired by clean modernist principles with playful nods to script and geometric form, IOA’s branding system is dynamic, professional, and distinctly personal.
